This place is in a nice area but it’s becoming increasingly inconvenient to live here. The water shut offs are getting ridiculous, & all residents are told is that it happens for repairs. These “repairs” are apparently having to be done on either an emergency basis or they’re planned maintenance—however, the frequency with which it happens leaves the impression that the place was just not built in a quality way. Busted pipes cause water shutoffs, repairs, broken lines or leaks, & it leaves half the complex at a time if not the whole area without water. Currently the water has been off Thurs, Fri, & now Monday on an emergency basis because they were “unable to find the leak” the first two days. from The utility bill does not change, the office workers do the best they can but provide little to no help unless it’s to put in a maintenance request. Looking at previous reviews, this has been an ongoing issue for at least a few years. The rent is too high to not only have water shutoffs at LEAST once or twice a month, but also mediocre infrastructure, poor insulation resulting in higher PG&E bills, & little parking space. Edit 12/6, original posted 7 months ago: This place is so bad I had to come back & edit my review! Not only is the water shut off almost every other month, this year is was shut off without notice on THANKSGIVING! The office employees were obviously out for the weekend, given that it was a holiday, so residents were only able to contact the city of Fresno for even a hint of when it would come back on. Less than a month later, they had to shut it off again today & went past the “8-5” timeframe until nearly 6. Don’t be fooled by the outside renovations, only move here if you have a backup apartment for the inevitable day you won’t be able to cook or shower unless you do it outside of business hours :)

My boyfriend and I enjoy living here. It is close to the Riverpark outlet and I like the privacy they give you. My last apartment would barge in even if we weren’t home. However the water is turned off a lot which I understand old construction needs more repairs especially on pipes but today (April 10) we didn’t get notified at all that the water was going to be shut down. We were out last night and we didn’t get a paper notifying us at the door. We have school/work/plans and it gets messed up due to not being prepared for a water shut down. The rent is also pretty high for having constant water shut offs, the gym room closed, and having glass/trash in the designated driving area in the complex.

Rudest management I’ve ever dealt with. I get better customer service from high school students working weekends. I’ve been without a closet pole for a whole week now. My clothes are all over the floor roaches are all over them. Do not move here. Linda, whoever she is, not even sure if she works here, is the worst. No concern for current residents. Had the cheek to tell me if you don’t like the roaches, you don’t have to live here. I Will be calling the department of health first thing Monday morning. Unacceptable. Also don’t believe any of the 5 star reviews. I doubt they are real and none have any have any pictures. It’s probably the management team trying to up the ratings.

This place is an absolute nightmare! Management and Maintenance run it like a welfare office. They act like they’re doing you a favor by allowing you to pay them to live in these substandard conditions. I have lived here for three months. In that time we’ve had water shut off six times and had to beg to get adequate pest control service. Between the roach infestations, the maintenance supervisor’s botched repair jobs, and the staff you can’t help but feel like you’re living in Candy Man’s Cabrini Green. And don’t get me started on the lake that runs through the property. It’s empty except for a few inches of sludge. It’s gross, but the mosquitoes seem to love it. It’s a real West Nile breeding ground. They really should call this place “The Swamps” because the only things “Spring”-ing up around here are the roaches, some mold, sewage, and drain flies. Attached are two photos of their mosquito motel. I’m also posting an image of the clock on my stove. If you zoom in you can see the dead roaches lodged inside it. And don’t get me started on what it took to get that replaced. If only AMC Property Management spent more time hiring adequate staff and less time generating fake five-star Google reviews…Ugh!
